Your access to this website and all products sold on this website are subject to the Terms and Conditions detailed below. You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of this website. Dawson’s Garden World reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, COLOURS AND FEATURES

We make every effort to ensure to ensure that the products we supply correspond as closely as possible to the samples and pictures we display on our website, in promotional materials and in our store. However, there may be variations as natural and handmade materials have unique characteristics and are rarely uniform. No responsibility can be accepted for these variations.

PRICES

Prices quoted on this web site are subject to change at the discretion of Dawson’s Garden World.

PAYMENT METHODS

You may make payments for purchases using Visa or MasterCard. Cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses or does not for any reason authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

ORDERS

You are responsible to ensure your details and aspects are correct on your online orders and that the goods are suitable for your requirements, including specifications, measurements, dimensions, product features, access and delivery. Please ensure that you select your products carefully as no exchange or refund will be issued for incorrectly ordered products.

DELIVERY

We only deliver plants and goods to selected Western Australian addresses (see our delivery areas and pricing page). We are not able to deliver interstate or overseas. Gift Vouchers can be posted to any Australian address, excluding PO Boxes. Please be aware with physical deliveries of plants, if you are not home when the delivery arrives our driver will still deliver the goods, which then become the responsibility of the recipient.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Please ensure that you select your products carefully as we will not exchange or refund products simply if you change your mind. All claims for damaged or incorrect goods must be made within 1 day of receiving delivery and must be forwarded via phone or fax. Upon delivery, you are responsible for checking products carefully. Any visible defects must be reported to Dawson’s Garden World immediately. We will not accept liability for visible defects not reported within 1 day. Please email us at online@dawsonsgardenworld.com.au or fax to 08 9453 9520 and include photos of the damaged or incorrect items. Please also include your contact phone number and order number.

PLANT GUARANTEE

Plants purchased physically through our retail stores carry a 12 month unconditional guarantee. However to avail yourself of this guarantee requires the plant, it’s label and purchase document to be presented at one of our four stores. This allows our staff to assess the problem and advise you on how to avoid it in the future. We will extend the same guarantee to you as an online customer but require the same conditions be met. That is the physical return of the plant, label and order confirmation.

PRIVACY POLICY

To properly process your order, we have to store your data and details, and provide certain aspects of this data and details to third parties who are directly involved with the process of the order. By placing an order with us you agree to your data being processed by Dawson’s Garden World. Occasionally Dawson’s Garden World may use information offered by you to notify you regarding information, goods, services and offers we think you may find valuable. If at any stage you decide you would rather not receive such information please email us at the address optout@dawsonsgardenworld.com.au. We will respect the privacy of your personal data and details and will comply with the current and relevant data protection and privacy legislation. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by court of law. By using this site you consent to the collection of information by Dawson’s Garden World.

DAWSON FREQUENT GARDENER LOYALTY SYSTEM

Dawson’s Garden World is committed to compliance with privacy laws which apply to its businesses and which set out standards for the management of personal information. When signing up to our loyalty system you have agreed to allow us to to collect and hold information that is reasonably necessary for our business functions and activities. When we collect, hold and use your personal information, we do so primarily to sell and promote our goods and services to you and to improve the range of our offerings. You may opt out of our direct marketing at any time. Our direct marketing materials will tell you how to do this. 

ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Vouchers purchased from Dawson’s Garden World are only redeemable in store. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for a cash advance. Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced or refunded. Dawson’s Garden World gift vouchers can not be used as a form of payment for online purchases, they are only redeemable at one of our four retail outlets.

DAWSON DOLLARS

We are unable to accept Dawson Dollars as part or full payment for online purchases. We are also unable to award Dawson Dollar points from online purchases.

WEBSITE CONTENT

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the information was being uploaded to the website. Information on the website may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We reserve the right to alter information as required.
